We believe in talent but even in training, together practice and instruction are helping to reveal the talent from within.
Apollon Art Studio is a private art school founded in 2021 by artists Apollon Avagyan and Christina Monastero.
At Apollon Art Studio, the focus is on nurturing individual creativity and fostering a deeper understanding of academic values. The methodologies employed here are tailored to each student's unique needs and aspirations, encouraging them to strengthen their technical abilities and explore various techniques. We believe that a personalized teaching approach not only enhances the learning experience but also cultivates a genuine passion for art.
In this supportive and immersive environment, students are empowered to learn all the classical techniques to apply in their future artistic journey. Whether beginners or experienced artists, everyone is welcomed to engage in meaningful dialogues and collaborative projects, further enriching their experience.

The studio is located in a historical 17th Century palazzo in the center of Florence. a stone's throw away from the Santissima Annunziata and the Accademia Gallery.
Meet the Team

CO-FOUNDER / DIRECTOR
Apollon moved to Florence, Italy, in 2008 to attend the Accademia di Belle Arti in Florence where he earned his Bachelors in Painting and Masters in Set Design. Following a period of teaching for art schools in Florence, Apollon established his own studio. He believes that artists should explore various art disciplines in order to open the mind and master their own profession. Much like the Renaissance artists who had full competence in multiple arts.

CO-FOUNDER / MARKETING DIRECTORBorn in New York, NY, Christina earned her degree in Art History from Pace University. After working in Marketing for various luxury brands within the design industry, she moved to Florence, Italy, to focus on painting. Currently, Christina leads the marketing initiative at Apollon Art Studio and continues to focus on her personal artworks.
